About TwistAtlas

Who stands behind the project

TwistAtlas is maintained as a small, repository-backed editorial project. Route facts, source records, GPX files, review dates, and publication changes are managed as versioned content rather than as user-submitted listings.

The project is still a pilot. Its current scope is a compact catalogue of selected motorcycle routes, not comprehensive coverage of every road in the region.

What we publish

A route guide may include distance, estimated ride time, surfaces, difficulty, season, practical stops, a map, elevation information, and a GPX download. Missing research stays missing rather than being filled with unsupported assumptions.

Every public route states its research or verification method and the date of its last review. The method belongs to that individual route; TwistAtlas does not claim that the whole catalogue has been personally ridden or verified.

What TwistAtlas is not

TwistAtlas is not a road authority, emergency service, tour operator, or turn-by-turn navigation product. A published route is not a promise that a road is open, lawful for every vehicle, or safe in current weather and traffic conditions.

Riders remain responsible for checking official road, border, ferry, park, and weather information before departure and for making decisions appropriate to their experience, motorcycle, and conditions.
